Round chrome plated knob
It is black, with silk lapels and has the characteristics “swallow’s tails”, from which derives the name in use in Anglo-Saxon countries “tailcoat” (“jacket with tails”) or “tails”. In the waist the jacket is rather short and has two rows of buttons (three on each side, not more) placed obliquely, for purely ornamental purposes. The jacket is not perfect unless it is embellished with the white note of the pocket (silk) handkerchief and the ends of the shirt cuffs, which must always be visible.
